Stephanie Garrett is a USA Triathlon Certified Level 1 Coach who specializes in designing training plans tailored to each athlete’s individual needs. With expertise in strength-specific training, key endurance workouts, and the core mechanics of swimming, cycling, and running, she offers a deeply personalized and comprehensive approach to coaching. Stephanie also emphasizes nutrition periodization and mental skills development—helping athletes fuel smartly, stay focused, and build resilience from the inside out.
An endurance athlete for most of her life, Stephanie began running at age 12 and never stopped. She was a standout cross country and track athlete in high school—holding her school’s record for over 25 years—and went on to run in college while pursuing her degree. Endurance sport became her anchor: a tool for managing stress, maintaining mental health, and connecting with nature.
In 1993, while living in Texas, she completed her first triathlon and found her next athletic passion. Since then, she has competed finished multiple marathons, ultra bike competitions, countless 70.3s, and a nine full Ironman races—including Wisconsin, Ireland, Maryland, and Mont-Tremblant. She's currently training for Ironman California.
A certified cross country coach in Massachusetts, Stephanie has led a highly competitive girls' team, nearly qualifying runners each year for the state championship. Her coaching extends beyond training plans—she believes in cultivating the whole athlete through a mind-body-soul approach. That means not only data and discipline, but also recovery, mindfulness, gratitude, and nature connection.
Stephanie believes that running empowered and saved her life during difficult chapters in her youth and early adulthood. Now, her mission is to help others rise stronger—physically, mentally, and emotionally—through the power of endurance sport. Whether you're training for your first 5K, 10K or your first triathlon or chasing a new personal best, she's ready to help guide your journey with experience, empathy, and an unwavering belief in your potential.
